We arrived home last evening after an uneventful flight from Paris. As much as I enjoy travelling and all the new experiences and knowledge that it brings me, I am always happy to return home. Travelling reinforces my love of Canada and of being Canadian. How many countries in the world will you find border agents who quiz you about where you’ve been, then hand you back your passport with a smile and say, “welcome home!”?

Thank you to everyone who followed along on our adventures over the last five weeks! I hope you enjoyed viewing the photos and reading the posts as much as I enjoyed snapping pictures and writing.
