There is an on-line shop based in Toronto called “Scout & Catalogue” that produces a beautiful line of hand-made accessories, which are all made in Canada by the company’s owners. They change with the seasons, introducing two major lines per year (spring/summer and fall/winter) with offerings that are fresh and stylish.

I never travel, whether for work or fun, without several Scout and Catalogue pieces. Their over-sized scarves dress up any outfit, and even function very well as light blankets for a long plane or train ride. I also use their clutches and bags to keep my travel documents, gadgets (phone, e-reader, music), and cosmetics organized in my carry-on.

I like this shop so much that I was unsure I wanted to post about it, wanting instead to keep all of their beautiful products to myself. Then I realized that their business has been booming without my tiny blog shout-out, so why not spread the love?

Scout and Catalogue’s new Fall/Winter 2012 line, appropriately called “Wanderlust”,  is now available for perusal and for purchase. The pictures above are from their current “lookbook” and highlight some of the pieces in this season’s collection.
